Welcome to Sprout. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sprout mobile app and sprout-ventures.ch website, operated by Sprout Ventures ("we", "us", "our").
By using Sprout you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sprout. Users between 13 and the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction (16 in most of the EU, 18 in some regions) must have parental or legal-guardian consent. If you are accessing Sprout on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf. If you are using Sprout on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Sprout Premium is a paid subscription billed monthly ($9.99/mo) or annually ($39.99/yr, or $29.99/yr with an introductory discount) via Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (no partial refunds for unused time).
Prices are shown in your local currency as determined by Apple. Taxes are included or added at checkout where applicable.
New Premium subscribers may receive a free trial period (typically 3 days). Trials auto-convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. We'll send you a reminder before the trial expires.
Sprout is a wellness app, not a medical device. The information, recommendations, AI coach responses, recipe suggestions, sleep guidance, and any health-related content in Sprout are for general informational and educational purposes only. They are NOT medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet, exercise, sleep medication, or any health-related routine. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in Sprout.
If you experience a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
Sprout uses AI to generate recipes, chat responses, and recommendations. AI output may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations, or be unsuitable for your specific situation. Use your judgment, verify ingredients for allergies, and consult professionals when in doubt. We make no warranty about AI output correctness.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of any content you submit (recipe preferences, chat messages, logged symptoms, profile pictures). You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display that content as necessary to provide the service. We will never use your personal content for marketing without explicit consent.
Sprout, Sprout Ventures, the Sprout mascot, all logos, illustrations, app icons, and software are the intellectual property of Sprout Ventures. You may not use any of these for commercial purposes without written permission.
You may terminate your account anytime via Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Surviving provisions (limitation of liability, IP ownership, governing law) continue after termination.
Sprout is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sprout Ventures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Sprout. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via the app and email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Zürich, Switzerland.
